11:13PM - One step closer to TFA State!

6 months ago after pflugerville you could have never gotten me into a student congress round.
Now I have a state point and I am in love with congress.
i decided at the begining of the year I'd do congress since the clarkees had no idea what went on in congress and I had some knowledge on it. I decided I'd help them and since I'd be doing the binder I might as well do the event.
after grapevine I thought this event is cool. Now I love it more than I loved LD
and LD was my first love.
anywho I got 6th at O connor after a lot of hardwork and practice. I was completly surprised cause I estimated 13 people did better than me.

but anywho I had so much fun this weekend. hanging out with the o connor kids. Hanging out with the clark kids. it's cool having support for these two teams and getting support from two teams. I'm lucky. I am happy right now.

well. leg one of o connor student congress is over. I'm excited 2 1/2 hours left tomorrow and then I'm free to roam slash judge and be cool. ha ha sure...
so tonight was good. I'm confident in my first speech and my second I read a little to fast so I probably got a 3 out of 6 on that one. oh well. maybe with some god given miracle I can do real well tomorrow and actually pull off a qual point or two! MAYBE!

I saw Melissa and that is cool. and I actually had a conversation longer than 3 seconds with manda! that is coolio too.
I'm off to shower and sleep for an early and long day tomorrow

I have been really bad with updating the last two or three weeks.
I have just been like... NOT into it. ha ha I know that is horrible. the last couple days I have been playing a lot of tennis. My knee is actually taking it well for the time being. it used to be the thing I dreaded about tennis. I wanted to play for clark for about ten minutes then I realized I STILL SUCK. oh well maybe next year. anywho this weekend is the o connor tournament. It is gonna be cool hangin with James and Scales and Jared and Jon and Kristy and Jeannie and Kat. and I guess everyone except for like 1 or 2. but it will be fun. I am way confident though. I should get last IN FINALS! ha ha If I don't just make it to finals, I am gonna be so dissapointed. but I dunno I guess all I can do is keep trying. Me at state? .00001% chance. but having fun is a definite!

last night was fun. I went to the movies (finally!) with Ashley and Megan Adams, and John came also. it was pretty cool. I forgot how much fun me and the twins used to have, and how much I miss them. I feel bad because I always have something else before them. and I don't like that feeling, so it's kind of hypocritical for me to do that to them.

next weekend is the O' Connor tournament. so I'm getting ready for a stressful week.

11:43AM - Grapevine was off the Sheezy

I got back about 2:30 last night. I had so much fun. I got to hang with the o connor debaters/interpers like old times and I met some cool new kids. I didn't do that well but thats ok. I will be more prepared next time and because OC isn't a TOC tournament there won't be as many GOOD people. even though thats a cop out :-\

but you know I took my camera so here it is...

Friday was the actual prelims round. My first speech on item 3 was ok. and I wanted to give one on item 6. but somebody moved to previous question before I could get in a speech. so I waited a little bit to make sure I'd have precedence and I then moved to suspend the rules and reorder the docket. gave my second speech and couldn't get in a third because I waited to long :-\
oh well next time!

so after being in a boring ass room for three hours I left with the O connor interpers and people in congress to go eat and go back to the hotel. Went swimming, the pool is on the roof. THAT IS NEAT ha ha. played marco polo and chicken fights with Jon Megan Miles and Jose. then we went downstairs to eat with Krist Ashley, Red Headed Ashley, and few other people. Friday was fun.
Saturday I didn't make it to semi's so I got the whole day to myself! hung out with OC interpers and Camielle all day. played some egyptian ratscrew, presidents, B.S. and Speed, and watched Jose's HI. Mark's poetry, and Duet Finals.

out of town tournaments are awesome. I can't wait til the next one

I went to first friday with Mona, Abril, Kari and Alejandro
It was pretty cool. My first time. Everytime I was invited before I had some kind of excuse. Debate tournaments... Homework... whatever. But I finally got out there.

hey. I haven't updated in a while. the last couple days have been ok. just been around just been at school. I've had debate practice all week and I've been workin with the novices. two on tuesday and then some kid Jason on friday. I love workin with the little freshmen. Oh so Oh so cute.

there's only eleven novices though.
All I have to say on that is they'll kick O' Connors novices ass.

I've been working on congress all night. I'm going to sleep

I've decided I will be going to Nationals next year with The Furginator in congress.
I been workin too mutha fuckin hard to not get any satisfaction out of it.
ok I probably won't go.

anywho I haven't updated really. I haven't put up those birthday pictures either. that might be something to do when I get some free time. anywho I am doing congress and because the people I am working with on it are totally unreliable and don't comprhend the concept of bringing evidence on monday, after I showed them how to pull it, I have been putting like 3 hours the last two days into it!
it is so much fun. I better at least qual for muh fuckin state. let me telll you!
even though I'll get whooped there :-|
